Our next webinar, the highly anticipated “TPR Overview: Planning Ahead for 2015 and Beyond,” will be presented November 18th, with an encore December 16th. Both programs will be presented from 12:00-1:00pm. This program is shaping up to be very popular, as Tax Year 2014 was especially complex, and the natural question is, “What’s next?”

Tax Year 2014 was certainly a memorable one, with CPAs and property owners scrambling to be in compliance with the new TPRs in all their complicated glory. It was a nonstop whirlwind of asset dispositions, safe harbors, 3115s and new expensing opportunities, colloquially referred to as the #longesttaxseasonever. Capstan was there, explaining the regs and helping CPAs distill them for easier client understanding. In our next webinar, the presenter will begin by reviewing the TPRs and associated decision making processes in the context of the past eventful tax year. The presentation will then shift focus to 2015 and beyond. Now that the dust has settled and the groundwork has been laid, professionals can focus on optimizing their use of these regulations from operational and budgetary perspectives. The presenter will discuss details involved in making proper elections, how to assess the fitness of data for decision making, and general strategies the CPA can use to help clients maximize their TPR benefit.

Packed with actual success stories, real-life case studies, and constructive, creative strategies that maximize benefit, this talk is not to be missed.
