Year End Strategies for Maximizing Your Savings in 2017

In 1957, Dwight D. Eisenhower famously said, “Plans are nothing; planning is everything.” Change is inevitable when it comes to tax planning, particularly in the world of commercial real estate. This course will highlight several unique and potentially powerful engineering-based tax tools that will help you make the most of your 2017 filing. Particular emphasis will be on the subjects of Cost Segregation, the PATH Act, EPAct 179D and the Tangible Property Regulations (TPRs), and subject matter will be discussed using examples that demonstrate the utility and economic benefits of these strategies. Included will be a special section highlighting the impact of the recently passed Tax Cuts and Jobs Act on Tax Year 2017.
