We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with our key clients. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as the primary point of contact. Understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives. Foster trust and credibility to become a trusted consultant.
Account Growth: Identify opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and expand our services within existing accounts. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute account growth strategies. Meet or exceed assigned revenue targets.
Customer Satisfaction: Ensure client satisfaction by providing exceptional service and promptly addressing any concerns or issues. Proactively anticipate client needs and provide appropriate solutions. Act as a customer advocate within the organization.
Account Planning: Develop and implement account plans to drive business objectives and revenue growth. Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers within client organizations. Understand their buying processes and align our solutions to their needs.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Track sales activities, account progress, and revenue forecasts. Prepare regular reports on account performance and present them to management. Provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
Contract Negotiations: Collaborate with the legal team to negotiate contract terms, pricing, and scope of services. Ensure contracts are executed accurately and in a timely manner.
Market and Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape. Identify opportunities and risks within the market. Provide feedback to internal teams on product or service enhancements based on client feedback and market intelligence.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Client Success, to ensure a seamless customer experience. Communicate client needs and expectations internally and align resources to deliver on commitments.
Skills & Requirements:
Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar client-facing role.
Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients at various levels.
Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex solutions to clients.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
Proactive and self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Knowledge of tax industry is a plus.
